তাইওয়ানে সম্প্রতি চালু হলো নতুন প্রযুক্তির মেশিন যেটিতে বারকোড ছাড়াই পণ্য চিহ্নিত করা যায়। মেশিনটির সামনে যে কোন পণ্য ধরলেই সেন্সর দ্বারা এটি চিহ্নিত করতে পারে এটি কি পণ্য, এর ওজন কত এবং দাম!

Macintosh এর কিবোর্ড শর্টকাট পরিবর্তন করা

কিছুদিন আগে আমার ম‍্যাকবুকে বাংলা কিবোর্ড ইন্সটল করেছি। ম‍্যাকিন্টোশে বাংলা লিখতে বেশ ভালোই লাগে। কিন্তু একটা সমস‍্যায় পড়লাম, বাংলা লিখতে গেলেই মাউস দিয়ে ক্লিক করে কিবোর্ড পরিবর্তন করতে হচ্ছে! কিবোর্ড সেটিংসে গিয়ে দেখি শর্টকাট আরেকটার সাথে মিশে গিয়ে ঝামেলা করছে; পরিবর্তন করতে পারছি না। পরে এটাসেটা ঘাটাঘাটি করে জানতে পারলাম ডাবল ক্লিক করেই শর্টকাট পরিবর্তন করা যায়!

প্রথমে একদম উপরের বাম কোণা থেকে এপল আইকনে () ক্লিক করুন
System Preferences-এ ক্লিক করুন
এবার ক্লিক করুন Keyboard-এ
এবার Keyboard Shortcuts -ট‍্যাবে ক্লিক করুন
বাম থেকে নির্বাচিত করুন Keyboard & Text Input
এবার ডানে দেখুন শেষের দিকে Select the previous input source নামে একটি চেকবক্স আছে; ঐটি নির্বাচিত করুন। যদি কিবোর্ট সেটিংস পরিবর্তন করতে চান; তবে ডাবল ক্লিক করুন এবং যা শর্টকাট হিসেবে চান তা কিবোর্ড থেকে চাপুন।
ব‍্যাস! হয়ে গেলো আপনার কিবোর্ট শর্টকার্ট পরিবর্তন।

রাইস কুকারে খিচুরী

খিচুরীর এই ছবিটি উইকিপিডিয়া থেকে ধার করে নেয়া। খুব শীঘ্রই রান্না করে আসলটা আপলোড করে দেবো।

আজকে আলোচনা করবো রাইসকুকারে কিভাবে দুম করে খিচুরী রান্না করা যায়।

যা যা দরকার:

দুই কাপ চাল
দুই কাপ মসুরির ডাল
এক টেবিল চামচ ঘি (না থাকলে সয়াবীন তেল দিয়েও চলবে)
পরিমান মত লবণ (আমি এক চা চামচ লবণ ব‍্যবহার করি)
দুইটা কাঁচা মরিচ (আপনি বেশি ঝাল খেতে পছন্দ করলে আরো একটা কি দুইটা)
এক চিমটি হলুদ
এক টেবিল চামচ রসুন বাঁটা

প্রথমে দুই কাপ চাল আর দুই কাপ মসুরির ডাল রাইসকুকারের পাত্রে নিয়ে নিন। এবার ভালো করে ধুয়ে নিন। এরপর এতে পরিমান মতো পানি নিন। লক্ষ‍্য রাখবেন প্রায় এক ইঞ্চি পরিমান পানি যেন বেশি থাকে। এবার এতে লবণ, ঘি, হলুদ, রসুন বাঁটা কাঁচা মরিচ ঢেলে দিন এবং রাইসকুকারে বসিয়ে চালু করে দিন। ব‍্যাস, কিছুক্ষনের মধ‍্যে আপনার খিচুরী তৈরি!

× আপনার ইচ্ছে হলে আলাদা স্বাদের জন‍্য সাথে ছোট ছোট টুকরো করা সবজি, বা ডিম মিশিয়ে দিতে পারেন।

Chicken Curry with vegetable

প্রবাসে এসে প্রথম যে ঝামেলায় পড়েছি, সেটা হচ্ছে রান্না বান্না! ঢাকায় থাকতে আমার খুন্তি ডিম ভাজা পর্যন্তুই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিলো। কিন্তু এখানে সবকিছুই নিজেরই করা লাগে। জুতা কালি থেকে শুরু করে বিছানা করা পর্যন্ত!
প্রথম প্রথম রান্না করতে সময় লাগতো পাক্কা ১ ঘন্টা! পরে বন্ধু শওকতের সহজ পরামর্শ কাজে আসলো:
উপকরণ:
১. পিঁয়াজ (৩টা),
২. রসুন বাটা (১চা চামচ),
৩. আদা বাটা (১চা চামচ),
৪. মরিচ (গুঁড়া – ১চা চামচ বা কাঁচা মরিচ – ৫-৬টা ঝালের উপর নির্ভর করে),
৫. হলুদ গুঁড়া (১/২ চা চামচ বা আরেকটু কম)
৬. রান্না করার তেল (আন্দাজ মত)
৭. মুরগির মাংস – ১কেজি

প্রণালী: এবার মাংস ভাল করে ধুয়ে রান্না করার পাত্রে নিন। সব উপকরণ ঢেলে দিন। ভালো করে নাড়াচাড়া করুন। সবকিছু ঠিকমতো মিশে গেলে চুলায় বসিয়ে দিন মধ‍্যম আঁচে। ১৫ থেকে ২০ মিনিটের মাথায় রান্না তৈরি!

Well, Bill,” said God, “I’m really confused on this one. I’m not sure whether to send you to Heaven or Hell! After all, you helped society enormously by putting a computer in almost every home in the world and yet you created that ghastly Windows. I’m going to do something I’ve never done before. I’m going to let you decide where you want to go!”
Mr. Gates replied, “Well, thanks, Lord. What’s the difference between the two?”
God said, “You can take a peek at both places briefly if it will help you decide. Shall we look at Hell first?” “Sure!” said Bill. “Let’s go!”
Bill was amazed! He saw a clean, white sandy beach with clear waters. There were thousands of beautiful women running around, playing in the water, laughing and frolicking about.
